Elon Musk believes that X, his social media platform, was targeted in a massive cyberattack. The platform went down on Monday for several hours, with tens of thousands of users left unable to access their accounts. Musk posted on X that while the site was frequently targeted, Monday’s attack had been conducted with a lot of resources and orchestrated by a large actor. Since Musk purchased Twitter in 2022 and rebranded it to X, repeated technical issues have ensued.
