An EU court has fined the EU for breaching EU privacy laws.
An EU court has ruled that the EU violated an individual’s privacy rights when it allowed that persons data to be transferred to a server in the United States. The Court ordered that the EU compensate the individual with €400. This case marks the first time that the EU has been found liable for violating its own data privacy laws.
