The European Union Agency for Law Enforcement Training suffered a cyberattack in May 2024, and almost 100,000 individuals have been compromised by the incident. The compromised individuals had participated in training organized by the agency. The organization stated that any data processed by the EU agency could have been compromised by the malicious actor. Over the past year, multiple platforms part of EU law enforcement agencies and institutions have been breached.
