Europol Dismantles 27 DDoS Attack Platforms Across 15 Nations; Admins Arrested 

Europol has dismantled 27 services used to conduct distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks as part of a global law enforcement operation. The platforms have been taken offline. This operation occurred as part of an international, multi-year exercise called PowerOFF. Europol coordinated the operation along with 15 other countries. Three administrators associated with the illicit platforms have also been arrested. The effort dismantled multiple booter and stresser websites, which can use botnet malware to launch attacks.
