Firefox Vulnerability Allows Tor User Fingerprinting

Browser flaw enables cross‑site tracking.

Researchers found that a Firefox bug allowed websites to track users across domains by exploiting the stable ordering of IndexedDB database names within a single browser session. The identifier persisted through reloads and new private sessions, affecting both Firefox’s Private Browsing mode and Tor Browser’s New Identity feature. Mozilla patched the issue in Firefox 150, and the Tor Project released its fix in version 15.0.10.
