A recent ransomware attack has employed a new tactic.

A ransomware attack carried out by the Fog group has seen them employ a new tool. The group used mutitple open source tools to infiltrate the organization and deploy ransomware. The open source tools they used are used by several companies as legitimate employee monitoring tools.
