France Blames Russia for Cyberattacks on Dozen Entities 

France is claiming that APT28, a Russian state-sponsored hacking group, has targeted around a dozen French organizations, including ones connected to the country’s government. APT28 has been active since at least 2004 and is connected to the Russian GRU and known to target European and American government, military, energy, and media organizations. French cybersecurity agency ANSSI has published a report which attributes attacks on French organizations to APT28.
