A cybersecurity startup has secured $56 million in a new round of financing.
Guardz, founded in 2022, sells an AI-native detection-and-response platform built for service providers that look after small and mid-sized businesses. The funds raised for its new Series B were led by ClearSky and included equity stakes for new backer Phoenix Financial. The platform stated that the fresh capital will accelerate U.S. go-to-market hiring, expand R&D, and add natively built controls aimed at reducing manual workloads for over-stretched MSPs.
