Hackers leak Qantas customers’ data as ransom deadline passes

Qantas customer details leaked after airline refuses ransom demands.

Hackers released data from nearly six million Qantas customers on the dark web Saturday after a ransom deadline passed, including names, email addresses, phone numbers, dates of birth, and frequent flyer numbers stolen through a third-party Salesforce-connected platform in early July. Qantas maintains that financial information, passwords, PINs, identity documents, and credit card numbers were not compromised in the breach.
