HPE Says Personal Information Stolen in 2023 Russian Hack 

Hewlett Packard Enterprise has begun notifying individuals that their data was compromised in a 2023 Russian hack. The attack occurred in December 2023, and was attributed to Russian threat actor Midnight Blizzard, also known as APT29. The group is believed to be backed by the Russian government. In the attack, the actors accessed the mailboxes of various individuals and personal information which was stored in them. Social Security numbers, driver’s license information, and credit or debit card numbers were accessed during the incident.
