An Instagram glitch has exposed private posts of users.

A glitch in Instagram’s “Close Friends” feature allowed users outside of designated private circles to view and respond to Notes meant only for select followers. The issue sparked panic among users, with some reporting that people they intentionally excluded from their Close Friends list were able to see incriminating content. Meta has yet to respond to the incident, which follows previous privacy controversies involving Instagram’s location-sharing features.
