Jaguar Land Rover has confirmed that a recent cyberattack not only disrupted its manufacturing operations but also led to a data breach. The attack forced the company to shut down factories in the UK, China, Slovakia, and India, and disconnect systems to contain the damage. JLR has not disclosed what specific data was compromised but stated that it is notifying regulators and will inform affected individuals as needed. The cybercrime group responsible has not been officially named.
