Lee Enterprises, an American media company, has shared more details about the ransomware attack that recently impacted the newspaper giant. The company said the disruptions were caused by ransomware, and the attackers encrypted and stole files. Lee owns 350 publications across the U.S., and at least 75 of them were affected by the cyberattack. The enterprise is currently conducting a forensic analysis to determine if personal information or sensitive data was compromised in the incident.
