The US has requested the extradition of a LockBit developer from Israel.

The US has requested that a dual Russian-Israeli citizen be extradited to face crimes related to his involvement with the ransomware group LockBit. The US and other nation’s have aggressively pursued members of the LockBit group in recent months. LockBit has been responsible for thousands of attacks on entities around the world and have received over $500 million in ransom payments.
