Tel Aviv-based Mate emerged from stealth with $15.5 million in seed funding from Team8 and Insight Partners. Founded in 2025 by former Wiz and Microsoft executives, the startup uses AI agents and reasoning models to investigate and resolve incidents. Pilot deployments in Europe and the US have reduced false positives and response times, integrating with existing SIEM, EDR, and email security tools. Mate plans to expand its engineering team and broaden enterprise rollout, positioning its system as a continuously learning defense platform.
