Conduent breach exposed data of millions across U.S.

Hackers infiltrated Conduent’s systems for nearly three months, stealing sensitive personal data from millions of users. The breach, which affected government agencies and major corporations, exposed names, Social Security numbers, and medical details. Conduent confirmed the attack in January and began notifying victims last week, though it is not offering identity protection services. The Safepay ransomware group claimed responsibility, with Texas reporting the highest number of impacted individuals.
