A south central Lower Sioux Indian Community was hit by a ransomware attack last week, impacting the community’s critical infrastructure. The attack disrupted a local healthcare facility, government center, hotel, and casino operations. The tribe quickly took some systems offline and is now working to investigate the incident. RansomHub has taken responsibility for the attack. Last month, the cybercrime group targeted the Sault Tribe of Chippewa Indians in Michigan.
