On Wednesday, Verizon published its 2025 Mobile Security Index.

The Mobile Security Index is a report based on a survey of nearly 800 professionals involved in mobile security. They found that 85% of organizations have been seeing an increase in mobile device attacks. Only 17% of organizations have been using specific security controls against AI-assisted attacks. Most organizations reported confidence in their ability to recover from mobile attacks. However, those who did suffer attacks reported downtime, data loss, fines, and reputational damage.
