The Rhysida ransomware gang has claimed to have attacked the Montreal North borough.

The Rhysida ransomware gang has claimed to have the Montreal North Borough of Canada’s Quebec province. The group posted to their site some documents they claim to have stolen and demand a $1 million ransom. The Borough has not yet commented on the post. Rhysida is a known ransomware group that has targeted public and private entities and is thought to be linked to the Russian government.
