Blockchain‑based lender Figure confirmed that nearly 1 million user records were exposed after an employee fell victim to a social engineering attack. The ShinyHunters group claimed responsibility and leaked over 2GB of stolen data online. The exposed information included names, birthdates, email addresses, phone numbers, and postal addresses belonging to roughly 967,000 users. The attack was reportedly part of a broader Okta‑related phishing campaign targeting single sign‑on accounts at multiple organizations
