A Florida based healthcare provider was the victim of a data breach.

Medical Associates of Brevard, a Florida-based healthcare provider, suffered a data breach in January 2025 that impacted nearly 250,000 individuals. The BianLian ransomware group claimed responsibility, stating they stole personal and protected health information, emails, databases, and internal documents. The breach was reported to the Maine Attorney General’s Office, and federal records confirmed the scale of the incident. BianLian has been inactive since March, and it remains unclear what happened to the stolen data.
