No Patch for Flaw Exposing Hundreds of LG Cameras to Remote Hacking

LG Cameras Unprotected Against Critical Exploit

LG Innotek LNV5110R security cameras suffer a high-severity authentication bypass flaw that permits unauthenticated remote code execution with full administrative privileges. The model is end of life, so no patch will be released, leaving roughly 1,300 internet-exposed units at risk. Attackers can upload reverse shells, hijack live streams, execute arbitrary Linux commands, and pivot into internal networks. Organizations should immediately isolate or replace these cameras to prevent exploitation.
