Numotion, the U.S.’s largest provider of wheelchairs and other mobility solutions, has been the victim of a data breach. Almost 500,000 people have been impacted by the incident. Numotion recently discovered that some email accounts of employees were hacked between September and November 2024. Emails in the compromised accounts were determined to contain customer information, including payment and financial account information, medical information, and health insurance details. In some instances, Social Security numbers and driver’s license numbers were included. It is believed that all Numotion customers are involved in the attack.
