A hacker recently posted on the BreachForums cybercrime forum offering to sell 20 million OpenAI credentials. However, after investigation into the claims by OpenAI, the company has found that the data likely came from information-stealing malware instead of the AI firm’s systems. Kela, a threat intelligence firm, conducted an analysis of the sample data posted by the hacker, determining it was likely obtained by an infostealer malware.
