A hacker posted an advertisement attempting to sell millions of data records which they allegedly stole from the company. The actor claimed that they had stolen the data of over 140,000 Oracle Cloud tenants. A cloud security firm analyzed the hacker’s claims and believed that the attack was enacted with a known Oracle product vulnerability. However, Oracle is denying the breach. The company states that there was no theft of data from Oracle Cloud, and no Oracle Cloud customers have experienced a breach.
