Okta is warning its customers about an increase in attacks impersonating the company’s support team. The company has described the attacks as “phishing social engineering attempts.” These bad actors are regularly targeting Okta customers and the company itself as Okta is used by major enterprises for identity solutions. Okta is warning its customers to be on the lookout for phishing attacks from actors posing as its support team. Indicators of these attacks are suspicious email addresses, urgent calls or emails, suspicious attachments and links, or incorrect spelling.
