The City of Columbus has reported that a cyber attack has exposed thousands of individual’s data.

The City of Columbus has reported that its systems were compromised in a recent cyber attack. Over 500,000 individuals personal data was stolen in the attack. The city reported that a threat actor attempted to deploy ransomware but has not confirmed if they were successful.
