Pro-Ukrainian hackers take over Russian TV on UA Independence Day

Television networks breached during independence celebrations

Pro-Ukrainian hackers infiltrated Russia’s third-largest TV provider on Sunday, broadcasting three hours of battlefield footage across 116 channels to approximately 50,000 households. Ukrainian military intelligence reported the hackers replaced regular programming with content revealing “the truth about war,” including strikes on Russian oil refineries and Putin’s failure to fully capture any Ukrainian region.
