Reports identified the suspect as Edward Dubrovsky, who was arrested in Philadelphia and faces extortion-related conspiracy charges that have been transferred to a Texas court. Investigators allege ShinyHunters accessed FBI employment systems and obtained sensitive information, while the bureau attributed the breach to an unpatched software vulnerability. The arrest is the third linked to the group in recent weeks as authorities intensify efforts to dismantle the network and pursue additional suspects.
