Russia has developed a new tactic to infiltrate networks.

Russian hackers have developed a new method for infiltrating networks. The method involves breaching the systems of a less secured system in a nearby facility and then using that breached system to launch attacks onto the network of the actual target. Researchers at Volexity identified APT 28 as being responsible for the development and use of the new technique.
