A security firm has crippled the operations of the ransomware group BlackLock Ransomware after exploiting a vulnerability in its website. The firm was able to conduct its attack after its research found several vulnerabilities in the websites. The firm has also alerted police and turned over data regarding BlackLock attacks. However, another rasomware group, DragonForce, has now defaced the old BlackLock Ransomware website and has claimed to take over its operations.
