Researchers have discovered several vulnerabilities in systems used by healthcare organizations.
Forescout researchers discovered 20 vulnerabilities in Lantronix and Silex serial‑to‑IP converters that could enable remote attacks on OT and healthcare systems. These flaws collectively named BRIDGE:BREAK allow for OS command injection, remote code execution, firmware tampering, and device takeover. Attackers could manipulate sensor data, disrupt medical workflows, or cause denial‑of‑service conditions by deploying malicious firmware.
