Steam and Riot Games, along with other major platforms like PlayStation Network and AWS, experienced widespread service disruptions starting on October 6th, 2025, due to suspected DDoS attacks. The outages affected popular games such as Valorant, League of Legends, Counter-Strike, and Dota 2. Cybersecurity experts attribute the disruptions to the Aisuru botnet.
