U.K. Retail Giant M&S Says Customer Data Was Compromised in Cyberattack 

Marks & Spencer, the large United Kingdom retailer, is now stating that customer data was stolen in the recent cyberattack suffered by the company. The incident forced the company to shut down online orders for weeks after the data breach. M&S said that personal data including contact details and dates of birth was accessed during the attack. However, there is no current evidence that the data has been circulated or shared. Information such as card and payment details was not compromised during the incident. It is still unclear who was behind the attack on M&S.
