U.S. airline Global Crossing Airlines, which operates as GlobalX, has confirmed that it was the victim of a data breach in which hackers leaked data stolen from its systems. GlobalX has been in the news recently for its involvement in the Trump administration’s recent deportations, including controversial deportations to El Salvador of Venezuelan gang members. The attackers behind the incident are claiming to be part of the Anonymous movement, and leaked flight records and passenger lists to the media.
