Hackers are increasingly targeting school districts.

PowerSchool, a US based education sofware provider, has said that groups have attempted to attack several school districts. They have said that these groups have attempted to use data stolen from them to carry out the attacks. The company said the stolen data includes personal information on millions of students. The company has said that they have choosen to pay a ransome to end the attacks.
