Al Qaeda affliate in Burkina Faso has claimed responsibility for an attack.

An Al Qaeda affiliate in Burkina Faso has claimed responsibilty for an attack which killed 60 soldiers. The affiliate has carried out a series of recent attacks in the country as well as in Mali. The attacks have underminded claims of the governments of the success of their counter-terrorism operations.
