Chevron commits to Yoyo-Yolanda gas project straddling Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea

Chevron has affirmed its commitment to gas projects in Yoyo-Yolanda.

Chevron reaffirmed its commitment to the Yoyo‑Yolanda offshore gas project, a bilateral development zone shared by Cameroon and Equatorial Guinea. The fields hold an estimated 2.5 trillion cubic feet of natural gas and form a key part of Chevron’s long‑term LNG supply strategy. A newly signed contract has merged previously separate leases, enabling joint development under a unified project structure. Chevron says the project leverages existing infrastructure at Alen and Punta Europa to advance regional gas monetization efforts.
