On Thursday, deadly Israeli strikes killed dozens of people in Lebanon. At least three were killed in an attack on a southern coastal city. Airstrikes killed dozens more in the area of Baalbek in the east. Israel has widened its campaign against Iran-backed Hezbollah. Initially, the country focused on border villages in southern Lebanon. Now, Israel has expanded strikes on urban areas across the entire country. Israel’s military stated that it had struck over 110 sites in Gaza and Lebanon in just the past day. In Lebanon, over 3,000 people have been killed since last October, while more than 1.2 million people have been displaced.
