62 Taiwanese military members have been found to have Chinese residency permits.
Taiwan’s government has annouced that they found 62 military members held Chinese residency permits. Taiwanese law does not prohibit holding a Chinese residency permit but does restrict the ability of those that hold one to access sensitive information. The government said they did not find anyone that held a Chinese passport. Taiwan has stepped up security measures as it faces increasing pressue from China to unify with the mainland.
