The EU has extended sanctions against Russia for another 6 months.

The EU has agreed to extended sanctions against Russia for another 6 months. This was agreed to after Hungary agreed to drop its opposition to the extension. Part of the agreement to extend sanctions included the EU agreeing to take a tougher stance on energy policy.
