On Wednesday, a suicide bombing in Kabul killed the Taliban’s refugee minister and two others. The death of Khalil Haqqani, the minister, is the highest-profile casualty of a bombing in Afghanistan since the Taliban’s return to power. There has not yet been a claim of responsibility for the bombing, which occurred inside the ministry in Afghanistan’s capital. Officials were not authorized to speak to the media and spoke on the condition of anonymity, providing no further details about the attack.
