France has expressed its willing to defend its interest against Iranian attacks.

France’s foreign minister Jean‑Noël Barrot said the country stands ready to defend its partners following Iranian retaliatory strikes. He noted that regional conflicts are drawing in countries with which France has defense agreements and strategic interests. French Rafale jets have been deployed to secure airspace over French bases in the region. France is also prepared to evacuate vulnerable citizens from affected Middle Eastern countries using commercial and military flights.
