Germany has reopended its embassy in Syria.

Germany has reopened its Embassy in Syria after closing it 13 years ago. The German Foreign Ministry said that it was important for Europe to have a presence in the country. The Ministry has said that the embassy will not have a large staff or a permant ambassador.
