Germany to boost military by up to 60,000 troops under new NATO targets

Germany plans to increase the size of its active duty army.

Germany has annouced plans to increase the size of its active duty army by 60,000 troops. The plan is meant to fulfull NATO targets for the size of active duty forces. The push is part of a broader plan by NATO to build up its capacity to resist a Russian invasion of Europe.
