Hezbollah will not disarm until Israel withdraws forces from Lebanon.

Hezbollah has annouced that they will not begin disarmament until Israeli forces withdraw from Lebanon. This annoucement comes after the United States urged Lebanon’s government to assert full control over the country. This statement was understoood by many to mean that the Lebanon should fully implement the agreement to assume control over the south of the country with the support of UN troops. Hezbollah and Israel both maintain military forces in the South of the country.
