Former Philippine President Duterte has been arrested by the International Criminal Court. Duterte was arrested upon his arrival in the Netherlands. The Philippine government was responsible for turning Duterte over to the ICC. The ICC has been investiging Duterte since 2019 related to his Administration’s anti-drug operations.
