On Monday, officials from India and Pakistan held talks over extending the fragile ceasefire between the two countries. The agreement has stopped the most expansive fighting between the two states in decades, but it could collapse at any moment. India has announced that civilian flights will resume in its north, and all airports in Pakistan were reopened. Tens of thousands of people are still displaced from the two countries’ border. Last week, the states were engaged in shelling and drone warfare across the border, but this week appears to be calmer, although some drone sightings and explosions were reported on Monday.
