Attacks by Islamic State-affiliated militants in northern Cabo Delgado province displaced more than 46,000 people over eight days, nearly 60% of them children, with no reported fatalities. The UN reported the recent wave of violence across Chiure, Ancuabe, and Muidumbe districts between July 20 and 28 prompted mass departures. Doctors Without Borders launched emergency aid in overcrowded camps in Chiure, highlighting urgent humanitarian needs.
