Israel Bombs Yemen’s Main Airport in Retaliation for Houthi Strike 

Israel launched strikes on Yemen’s main airport in response to a Houthi missile that struck near Israel’s main airport. The Houthis have been consistently firing rockets and drones at Israels, and launching more attacks on ships in the Red Sea, in their solidarity campaign with Palestinians in Gaza. The Israeli strikes come as U.S. President Trump announced that the U.S. would stop bombing the Houthis. A Houthi official said that the Houthis would respond to the Israeli airstrikes in a way that was “earth-shattering” and “painful.”
